Ook dit jaar gaf ik weer enkele workshops op Let’s Talk Science, de driedaagse zomerschool wetenschapscommunicatie voor doctoraatsonderzoekers uit heel Vlaanderen. Dit jaar streek het event neer aan de KU Leuven, met een Scicomm Symposium en veel workshops.
Ik geef er intussen al enkele jaren op rij een workshop, met improvisatietechnieken als basis om onderzoekers vlotter, aanwezig en overtuigend te leren spreken over hun werk.

Once again this year I taught a few workshops at Let’s Talk Science, the three-day science communication summer school for PhD researchers from across Flanders. This year’s edition was hosted at KU Leuven, with a Scicomm Symposium and many workshops.
I’ve been teaching a workshop there for several years running now, using improv techniques as a basis to help researchers speak about their work with more flexibility, presence and conviction.
